My name is Gretchen "Grae".
I prefer she or they pronouns.
I am a Rite of Passage and Wilderness Guide.
As a guide, I am transparent that I never guide alone.
My first co-guide seat is always inhabited by Nature.
I intend to balance attention towards the wisdom of the body, psyche, mind, spirit, environment, community and the culture.
While my work does include Ceremony and Ritual, it is important for me to approach it through a perspective of integrated wholeness, authenticity, and cultural respect.
I create a container that is spacious and safe enough to be filled by any truths and by any identities a human may bring.

The relationship with a guide is a crucial component of navigating the unknown territories of our living & being. Remembering and & Restoring this relationship is a truly radical and magical act.

WHO IS THIS WORK FOR?
Rites of Passage are part of human nature, and thus an inherent need for all humans to practice and to express. Thus I work with a very wide diversity of people and lands who are willing & ready.

As a guide it is my intention to witness, to nourish, to hold, and to companion “the nature in people”.
HOW DOES GUIDING WORK?
Guiding is an art form, it is not pre-made nor thoroughly planned. Much of our work together will be intuitive, more of a remembering than a learning. Our surroundings will will constantly inform how we move and what we are resourced by.
